Annual Banquet will be postponed
By Blue Ridge Chapter | January 29, 2010
If you RSVP’d for our Annual Banquet, we apologize for the last minute cancellation. Due to the impending snowstorm and the Governor’s recent state of emergency alert, we decided it best to reschedule the event for later in the month.
No reservation checks have been cashed. Once we decide on a new date (most likely Feb. 21st or 28th to avoid conflicts with Superbowl Sunday and Valentine’s Day) I will contact those who were planning to attend. Should you not be able to make the rescheduled date, your check will be destroyed.
Again, we apologize for the last minute change. But we couldn’t, in good conscious and in lieu of the state of emergency alert, allow our chapter members, caterers and Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s staff face having to travel during potentially dangerous weather conditions. We look forward to the event and trust that the extra couple weeks will give us time to make the event even better!
